Sri. M. Soma Sekhar Reddy garu the founder of Nagarjuna Educational Institutions was the son of Sri. M. Somi Reddy and Chandramma who hail from agricultural family in Sunkesula Village, Pulivendula (Tq), Kadapa.
Sri Soma Sekhar Reddy garu is a post- graduate in Physics from Andhra University Waltair, Vishakhapatnam. After that he started his career as a lecture and spent majority of his service in Govt. Arts Degree College, Kadapa as a lecturer in Physics.
The great visionary, Sri. Soma Sekhar Reddy’s relentless efforts, unshaken attitude, devotion and dedication towards education made Nagarjuna Education Institution as an exemplary role model.

SCHOLASTIC AREA
The school follows the curriculum provided by Andhra Pradesh State Education Board and seeks to provide opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning. The curriculum aims at achieving cognitive, affective and psychomotor excellence: enhancing self-awareness and exploring innate potential; attaining mastery over laid down competencies; imbibing 21st century learning, literacy and life skill.
FUNDAMENTAL LEVEL
Kindergarten section has subjects such as Literacy, Numeracy, EVS, General knowledge, Hindi, and Art and Craft. The concepts are taught through play way method where learning is made a joyful experience. Literacy skills are developed through phonetics. The kindergarteners enjoy storytelling, rhymes exercise, games, music, art and craft throughout the term. They are also encouraged to participate in various competitions to discover their talents.
Preparatory Level
Class I to V have the core subjects English, Hindi, Telugu, EVS and Mathematics. Each subject is taught in a student friendly environment and through activities to achieve the learning outcome prescribed by the A.P.S.E.B. Students are given ample opportunities to develop the basic skills in 3 languages and mathematics. The Academic Year is divided into two terms: Term I from June to October and Term II from November to March.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
Class VI to VIII have English, Hindi, Telugu, Social Science, Science and Mathematics as their subjects.
SECONDARY LEVEL
Class IX and X have English, Telugu, Hindi, Science, Mathematics and Social Science as their core subjects.
ACADEMIC PLUS
A special orientation programme FOCUS (Focus on Courses for Universal Selections) to develop competitive quotient amongst the students at an early age that is from class VI onwards is introduced with day in and day out, with rigorous motivation, determination and desire to pursue excellence FOCUS is providing its prowess not only in guiding students to the path of success, but also inspires them to recognize and explore their own potential.
CO-SCHOLASTIC AREA
Co-Scholastic areas are essential for the holistic development of the students. The school follows the co-scholastic subjects Prescribed by the State Government: Art Education, Health and Physical Education, Work Experience and Discipline. Besides, the school offers additional co-scholastic areas such as Computer Education, General Knowledge, Value Education and Music. As these competencies have relevance in the present day, the school makes them available to all students. Through these co-scholastic areas - particularly through value education - the School gives importance to character formation by instilling in students values like dedication, honesty, truthfulness, kindness, empathy, respect for the elders and care for the environment.
ASSESSMENT AND PROMOTION
The school conducts assessment of students as per the State Education Board guidelines and the curriculum issued at the beginning of every academic year
I. Assessment for class I to V
The assessment of students of class I to V is based on term-wise system. There are two Terms in an academic year. Students are assessed based on their performance in both the terms. Each term has two components – internal component and term exam. The internal component consists of Periodic Test, Subject Enrichment Activity, and Notebook. Assessment is done both on scholastic and co-scholastic areas.
II. Assessment for class VI to IX
The assessment structure and examination for Classes VI to X is based on the Annual Scheme as per the norms State Education Board.
